To explore the Colombian Pacific coast, we recommend you plan your trip between July and October, the best period for whale-watching – between us, who hasn’t dreamed of seeing whales up close? Conditions are often wet, so don’t forget to bring waterproof clothing and suitable footwear. Take cash with you, as tourism is still developing in this Pacific coastal area, and infrastructures are basic, but this is also part of the charm of this wild and unspoilt destination.

Day 1: Bogotá

  • Arrival in Bogotá, Colombia.
  • Private transfer from the airport to your hotel in “La Candelaria”, the city’s historic center.

Day 2: Bogotá

  • Visit to the Gold Museum and the Botero Museum, Bogotá’s two most famous museums.
  • Visit La Candelaria: explore the historic district with its colorful streets, museums (such as the Gold Museum and the Botero Museum), and ancient churches.
  • Climb Montserrate: Take the funicular or cable car to admire a panoramic view of the city from this highest point.

Day 3: Bogotá

  • Visit La Candelaria: Explore the historic district with its colorful streets and museums (morning).
  • Plaza de Bolívar: Discover the central square surrounded by historic buildings such as the Primada Cathedral and the Palace of Justice (morning).

Day 4: Bogotá to Cali.

  • After a good breakfast, off to the airport, destination Cali.
  • Transfer to your hotel and visit of its typical market.

Day 5: Cali.

  • Perfect your dance steps with a free salsa class (it’s impossible to pass through the salsa capital of the world without seeing a few dance steps).

Day 6: Cali to Nuquí.

  • The next day, after a wild night’s dancing, we fly to Nuquí, a wild and unspoilt destination on the Pacific coast.
  • Transfer to your hotel to settle in, end of afternoon at leisure.

Day 7: Nuquí

  • Jungle trekking: Explore the dense jungle around Nuquí, with excursions to hidden waterfalls and natural hot springs.
  • Deserted beaches and surfing: Take advantage of the wild beaches to recharge your batteries or enjoy the perfect waves for surfing.

Day 8: Nuquí to Bahía Solano

  • Morning boat or flight to Bahía Solano: Another paradise on the Pacific coast, ideal for nature and adventure lovers.
  • Afternoon diving and snorkeling: Explore the coral reefs and abundant marine life in the crystal-clear waters, especially at Huina beach.

Day 9: Bahía Solano

Excursion to Ensenada de Utría National Park: Visit this park, home to mangroves, pristine beaches and tropical forest, with plenty of opportunities to observe local wildlife (whales, dolphins, tropical birds).

Day 10: Bahía Solano to Bogotá

In the morning, after a last look at the beach from your hotel, departure for Bogotá, the capital, to catch your flight to Paris.
